Pandemonium (a.k.a. Pandoras Box) 2007
I aimed for pandemonium to evoke different feelings and emotions for each viewer depending on their mood. The intention was that it would be a collection of suggestive images melted together mainly influenced by flower and glass texture (especially Dale Chihuly). I went to Kew Gardens and took blurred and close up images of the sights on offer and then put them together, I then added some ideas that have been floating around inside me to complete the piece. 95% completed- bees will be added to the hive and the torso will be darkened. I will upload the final version in the near future. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
